Solange Agüero

Poetry Editor & Development Coordinator

Solange Agüero (she/her) is a writer, researcher, and recent graduate of the University of Southern California with degrees in English Literature and Narrative Studies, as well as a minor in Spanish. She is a proud Angeleno and is of Argentinian-Armenian and Peruvian heritage. She has edited and written for publications such as Trojan Bloom, Daily Trojan, Glimpse from the Globe, and ASA Compass, to name a few. 

Solange has years of experience in nonprofit work, fundraising, education, and youth mentorship. She is particularly interested in the role of creative practices as forms of expression and resistance within the LGBTQ+ SWANA and Latinx communities. 

In her free time, she loves playing backgammon, running, and rewatching movies.
