Noor is an independent, New York-based literary and arts magazine founded to exist in the liminal space between heritage and innovation, tradition and rebellion, and between the recognized and emerging.

Run by youth who believe that these seemingly antithetical qualities can coexist through poetry, prose, and art, we aim to bridge the gap between creatives and publication, giving barrier-breaking voices a shared platform.

Noor—by its very definition—is light. We publish work that embodies that same illuminating power: work that refuses to stay hidden, voices that demand to be heard, stories that change how we see the world.
