Tasfia Jahan is a student and writer from Brooklyn, New York, whose poetry and fiction explore diaspora, language, and religion. She is a recipient of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards’ National Gold and American Voices Medal in fiction.

When not writing, she is an avid reader of Russian literature, spends her time working in museums, and paints scenes from classic romantic comedies.
